we have sold over 100.00 worth of alum cans,still collecting and hoping to raise more while we recycle. Have put a lady bug on a ziplock baggie and handing out to everyone I know. Asking them to fill with pennies and return. I know times are hard and money is tight, but everybody has a bag of pennies lying around.We will see how it turn out.If you need me call any time.

Had you and Heather on my mine and thought I’d send you a blog. I see a ladybug, I think of Heather, I see you on facebook, I think of Heather, I look at Kristin’s wedding pictures, I think of Heather. Well I could go on and on. But I wanted you to know that she is still everywhere for me and I know for you. She was loved by so many. She will never be forgotten.

I remember Heather when she was little. We would play at school or in the same neighborhood(while I was visiting a friend). She was younger than me but we would all play well together. Now a really good friend lives in that house and I go over to that house a lot. I really think about her often.

Don’t you worry, we will be there. As I said I will help in any way-even clean-up. Domestic violence has occured in our family since heather,but ours ended with a trip to the hospital,bumps and cuts. Don’t you worry, this coward is being charged and I can’t wait to see him face to face.So, for all the Heathers in our lives, know that I’m here and will do ANYTHING you need. God be with you, lisa

Thank you so much for your kind message. It means so much that people who do not know us or Heather have so much compassion. Heather was the light in our lives and she is missed greatly by many. I will contact you if we need additional help at the benefit. I hope you make plans to attend so that we can continue this fight against this silent crime.

to heathers mom,family and friends. I did not know Heather,but I am the mother of 3 daughters and 2 precious granddaughters.From the day this happened,I have thought of all of you.People that know me will agree that I am very protective,and passionate about the safety of all of children.I have cried for you,putting myself in your place-and my heart aches for your loss.My brain won’t allow me to imagine how I could handle what your family has gone thru. My girls, have friends that knew Heather and she must have been an amazing gift and joy in your lives.Everyone has only said loving memories of her. I would love to help with anything you need for the Oct.17th event. What a day. What a couple of years for that matter. I’ve been sad today as I’m reminded of the senselessness of 9/11 and everything it represents. Whether you mourn the loss of eight years ago or are mourning the loss of Heather it all boils down to uncontrollable ego. It makes me sick. I watch her friends grieve on Facebook. I hear the strain in her mothers voice. All we can do at this point is focus on the task at hand. Heather’s most important work is yet to come…and we are all ambassadors of her mission. Anyone and everyone that reads this blog can help. Our next big event is October 17th in Jackson at Hal & Mals. We need silent auction items, volunteers, money, prayer. Our hope is to increase our outreach significantly over last year. Please let us know if you can help. Peace.

Kristin and I have been selling alum cans since last year. Not a lot of money, but was wondering what I need to do with it. Are we in need of seed money? Tomorrow will be a ruff day for all, can only pray that you find piece in the fact that Heather was loved by so many. You are on my nine and in my heart. Don’t know you real well, but before I ever met you I knew Heather thought see had a cool Mom. She was right.
